History of the Argentina Flag

The blue-and-white flag was created by General Manuel Belgrano and first raised on 27 February 1812 in the city of Rosario. Its colours were adopted by the Congress of Tucumán in 1816, and the golden sun was added to the central white stripe in 1818.

Known as the Sun of May, the golden emblem commemorates the May Revolution and reproduces the sun depicted on Argentina’s first national coins. It has 32 alternating straight and wavy rays and is one of the country’s most recognizable national symbols.

The Argentina Flag is made from durable 115 GSM polyester and printed with clear, vivid colours. Reinforced edges and double-stitched seams provide additional strength. Two rust-resistant brass grommets allow quick and secure attachment to a flagpole, wall or balcony.

Care Instructions

Wash at up to 30°C using a mild detergent. Hand washing or a gentle machine cycle is recommended. Avoid strong bleach, aggressive rubbing and prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions.

Please note that our 2-year guarantee does not cover damage caused by mishandling via airline or third-party shipping companies. TEESNTOWELS cannot be held responsible for items that are delivered to the wrong address, lost or stolen in transit, or otherwise delayed by third-party shipping companies, postal depots, freight forwarders, etc.

We offer several payment methods, very easily and conveniently you can pay through Stripe and PayPal using your credit card or account.

The connection is well encrypted through the external payment providers Stripe and PayPal which guarantees security and convenience.

The information on the credit card (number of the card, expiry date etc.) are forwarded automatically via a coded security system to the Paymaster without „Teesntowels“ ltd or any third party having any kind of access to this data. Even in the event of a possible refund, the complete credit card details cannot become known. This is why a refund is only possible on the card with which the purchase was originally made. The financial information connected with credit card transactions (number of the card, expiry date etc.) are automatically forwarded with a coded message without „Teesntowels“ ltd or a third party having any access to them. Except in the event of a refund on possible returns, this information will never again be used.

Please note that the credit card account is directly debited but the payment is under review by our service provider. We are not allowed to send out the order until the payment is verified.
