Baltic German heritage and the history behind the flag

The Baltic Germans were a German-speaking community rooted mainly in present-day Estonia and Latvia. Their history reaches back to medieval settlement, with merchants and other settlers arriving during the 12th and 13th centuries. Over time, they influenced the region’s trade, education and administration. This cultural background gives the Baltic German flag its place in heritage collections.

No. The design is printed on one side and shows through to the reverse with approximately 90% visibility. The reverse appears mirrored.

How do I attach and care for the flag?

Attach it using the two brass grommets and compatible flag hardware. Wash at 30°C and let the flag dry completely before storing it.
