The cross and lion in Bonn’s city flag

The black cross in Bonn’s coat of arms recalls the city’s historical connection to the Electorate of Cologne. Beneath it stands a golden lion on a red field. The city council adopted the current coat of arms on 4 March 1971, continuing these established heraldic traditions.

Can I display the flag outdoors?

Yes. The polyester fabric has UV protection and a water-resistant finish. Bring the flag indoors during strong winds or severe weather, and keep it clear of branches, walls and other abrasive surfaces.

Is the coat of arms visible on both sides?

The flag is printed on one side. Approximately 90% of the design shows through to the reverse, where it appears mirrored.

How do I attach and clean the flag?

Use the two brass grommets with suitable clips or ties. Wash at 30°C and allow the flag to dry completely before storing it.

The information on the credit card (number of the card, expiry date etc.) are forwarded automatically via a coded security system to the Paymaster without „Teesntowels“ ltd or any third party having any kind of access to this data. Even in the event of a possible refund, the complete credit card details cannot become known. This is why a refund is only possible on the card with which the purchase was originally made.
