Bottrop and Kirchhellen united in one coat of arms

Bottrop’s current coat of arms dates from 1978 and combines elements from Bottrop and Kirchhellen. The black cross continues Bottrop’s heraldic tradition, while the blue shield and three white wolf hooks come from Kirchhellen’s former arms. The emblem reflects the shared identity of the enlarged city.

What does this Bottrop flag look like?

The flag has a white upper half and a blue lower half. The coat of arms is positioned towards the flagpole.

What are the three white symbols in the shield?

They are heraldic wolf hooks, known in German as Wolfsangeln, inherited from Kirchhellen’s former coat of arms.

Is the flag suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The polyester fabric has UV protection and a water-resistant finish. Take the flag down during strong winds or severe weather and prevent it from rubbing against branches, walls or other surfaces.

Is the design visible on the reverse?

Yes. The flag is printed on one side, with approximately 90% visibility through the reverse. The coat of arms appears mirrored on that side.

How should I attach and wash the flag?

Use the two brass grommets with suitable clips or ties. Wash at 30°C and let the flag dry completely before storing it.

We offer several payment methods, very easily and conveniently you can pay through Stripe and PayPal using your credit card or account.

The information on the credit card (number of the card, expiry date etc.) are forwarded automatically via a coded security system to the Paymaster without „Teesntowels“ ltd or any third party having any kind of access to this data. Even in the event of a possible refund, the complete credit card details cannot become known. This is why a refund is only possible on the card with which the purchase was originally made. The financial information connected with credit card transactions (number of the card, expiry date etc.) are automatically forwarded with a coded message without „Teesntowels“ ltd or a third party having any access to them. Except in the event of a refund on possible returns, this information will never again be used.

Please note that the credit card account is directly debited but the payment is under review by our service provider. We are not allowed to send out the order until the payment is verified.
